These eight amazing Saskatchewan youth leaders travelled to El Salvador last summer with SCIC’s Global Citizen Youth Leadership (GCYL) Program. The GCYL program is an opportunity for Saskatchewan youth to connect with the work of our members in El Salvador, to expand their knowledge about global issues, and to inspire their peers in Saskatchewan to see themselves as responsible global citizens. We did it! This weekend’s Global Climate March broke records as the largest climate mobilisation in history! This is the movement our world has been waiting for.

From São Paulo, to Sana’a, to Sydney, over 785,000 of us marched at 2,300 events in 175 countries united in one voice calling for a 100% clean energy future to save everything we love.

Bad water: 'Third World' conditions on First Nations in Canada

Two-thirds of all First Nation communities in Canada have been under at least one drinking water advisory at some time in the last decade, a CBC News investigation has revealed. The numbers show that 400 out of 618 First Nations in the country had some kind of water problem between 2004 and 2014.
